Communication between the parents, teachers, administration and the parish is an integral part of the education process. The Parent/Teacher Organization strives to promote open communication among these groups, as well as providing parents and teachers with information that will aid in all aspects of their education, growth and development. This group will help direct and coordinate parental support to the school through assisting in activities, social functions, and any fundraisers, as needed.

The Parent/Teacher Organization meets the third Wednesday of every month during school, and has its own by-laws. The officers may bring recommendations to the Education Commission meetings. All parents of school children at St. Thomas are automatically members of the PTO and are encouraged to take an active role in the activities planned by the organization. The goal of the Parent/Teacher Organization is to assist in maintaining and excelling the superior Catholic education at St. Thomas.
