May 10, 2013 Dear Parents,
We had such a busy and special week in K-1! We all enjoyed visiting with our future kindergarteners and their parents. Our students did a wonderful job of making our new friends feel welcome and comfortable. We are very proud of our first graders. They did an excellent job of leading Mass today. They worked hard to prepare and it showed. This is just the beginning of other, future leadership opportunities for your children. We want to thank you again for your yummy treats, meals, notes, gifts, and your time this past week. Thanks to all of you, we had a fabulous Staff Appreciation Week! We are blessed to have such supportive and thoughtful parents and volunteers. For the next couple of weeks we will perform Reader's Theater in our reading groups. We are very close to finishing our textbooks in math. This is the last week of spelling words. Our last test will be on Friday, May 17th. Thanks so much for such a fantastic year! We pray you have a relaxing Mother's Day weekend. God bless you, Mrs. Dodd and Mrs. Rentschler
